Duplicate Cases and Copy Analyses

Reuse a case structure or analysis safely while understanding how copies count toward Free limits.

Copying is useful for a training variation or a new analysis approach, but the copy becomes a separate record.

Before you start

On Free, duplicating a case consumes one of the three monthly new-case slots. Copying an analysis consumes one of the three monthly new-analysis slots. Pro has unlimited cases and analyses.

Make the right kind of copy

  1. Open Cases.
  2. Find the source case.
  3. Choose the duplicate action from its menu when you need a separate case.
  4. Give the duplicate a name that differs clearly from the original.
  5. Open the source analysis when you need to copy only repertorization work.
  6. Choose the analysis copy action.
  7. Select the destination case.
  8. Open the copied analysis to verify its rubrics and notes.

What you should see

The copied item has its own identity and can be edited without changing the source.

If something looks wrong

  • If copying is blocked, the applicable monthly case or analysis limit may be reached.
  • If the copy is hard to identify, rename it immediately.
  • If expected content is absent, verify whether you copied the whole case or only one analysis.
