Annotate the Materia Medica

Highlight a passage, attach a personal annotation, review it later, and remove it safely.

Annotations keep your private observations attached to the relevant place in a source text.

Before you start

Materia Medica annotations require Pro. Open the exact remedy and source you want to annotate.

Add an annotation

  1. Turn on the annotation mode if the reader offers a separate toggle.
  2. Select the specific text you want to mark.
  3. Choose the highlight or annotation action.
  4. Enter a short note that explains why the passage matters to you.
  5. Save the annotation.
  6. Open the annotations panel to find it again.
  7. Check the passage attached to the annotation.
  8. Edit or delete the selected annotation from its menu.

What you should see

The marked text is visually distinct, and its note can be reopened from the passage or annotation list.

If something looks wrong

  • If the annotation control is locked, confirm Pro access.
  • If text selection closes too quickly, select a shorter continuous passage.
  • If an old highlight moved after a source update, open its note from the annotation list and verify the surrounding text.
