3-Year Plans with 6 Months Free
Every Similia Pro edition can now be paid three years at a time. The 3-year plan costs 30 months of the monthly price, so six months are free compared with paying monthly. Choose “3 years” on the pricing page or in the Shop: a new subscription still starts with the 14-day free trial, and the 3-year price is charged when the trial ends. Current monthly and annual subscribers can switch from the Shop; the switch is charged at once, minus a credit for the unused time on the current plan, and the plan then renews every three years. The Murphy, Complete, Saine and Mangialavori add-ons move to the 3-year term with the plan, while the Meditative, Richard Pitt and Colin Griffith packages stay on monthly and annual plans. The 3-year price is final, so coupons and promotion codes don't apply to it, and it isn't offered with Turkey's regional pricing or in India.
New World Veterinary Repertory
Richard H. Pitcairn and Wendy Jensen's New World Veterinary Repertory (v22) is now in Similia as a permanent one-time add-on: 18,422 rubrics across 37 chapters written for animal patients, 237,674 remedy links and 710 remedies, based on Boger-Boenninghausen's Characteristics with additions from Kent and many others. Browse it chapter by chapter with linked cross-references, search it by keyword, or describe what you see in the animal and let AI semantic search surface the rubrics that mean the same thing; filter by remedy and grade; and add its rubrics to any repertorization beside your other repertories, where remedies shared with the Similia catalogue merge into a single column. Every remedy entry names its source from the authors' own reference list. It appears as “Vet” in the repertory selector.

Live Audio for Zoom and Teams Desktop Apps
Live Audio's online mode captured the patient only when the call ran in a browser tab, because the guide taught a single path: pick the tab and tick “Share tab audio”. A consultation held in the Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype desktop app had no tab to pick, and sharing the app window brought no audio. The setup guide now asks where the call is running. For a browser tab the steps are unchanged; for a desktop app it walks through sharing the entire screen with “Share with system audio” turned on, which carries everything the computer plays, including the call, into the transcript. Similia records audio only; the shared screen image is never stored or sent. When a share comes back without audio, the warning now names the actual miss: a window that carries no audio, a screen shared without system audio, or a tab without its audio. Each option shows a picture of the Chrome dialog with the three things to click numbered. System audio needs Chrome or Edge on Windows, or Chrome 141 or newer on macOS 14.2 or newer; Firefox and Safari record the microphone only, and the guide says so before the share dialog opens. Live Audio is part of the Pro AI toolkit.
Scholten Plants Table
The Periodic Table has a sibling: Jan Scholten's Plants Table. Three tables follow the three series of the plant code: the kingdom table places every class at its phylum and series, including classes that hold no remedy yet; a class opens into its subclasses by phase, one order in each cell; a subclass opens into Scholten's grid of phases and subphases, each cell holding a family. Select a family to read its chapter and see its remedies laid out across the 18 stages, with links into the materia medica; phylum, class, subclass, order, series, phase, subphase and stage headings open their own chapters from Qjure and Wonderful Plants. Switch between the Periodic Table and the Plants Table with the buttons at the top of either table. The position — class, subclass, family, heading and search — stays in the address bar, so Back from a remedy returns to the same table and a position can be shared as a link. Part of Pro.
More Reliable Live Audio Recovery
Live Audio now waits before retrying when the transcription service is busy. Brief interruptions can recover automatically; a longer service cooldown stops recording and saves the captured transcript, with a clear message to explain what happened. Editing rubrics while audio saves also keeps the transcript, summary and selected rubrics together. Live Audio is part of the Pro AI toolkit.
Transcribe-Only Mode and a Live Transcript in Live Audio
Live Audio always ran the full AI pipeline — symptom detection every two minutes, automatic rubric search, materia medica findings and a running case analysis — even when a practitioner only wanted a record of the consultation. Settings now offers two session modes. Transcribe only keeps the live transcription and still writes the end-of-session summary, but runs none of the analysis calls while the session lasts, so a session costs little more than the transcription minutes. Transcribe + AI analysis is the previous behaviour, unchanged. The full transcript also has its own view at last: a Transcript toggle in the session header opens a resizable column that groups the text by speaker and follows the newest line as it arrives, with a copy button; on a phone it is a tab. In transcribe-only mode the rubrics, materia medica and analysis panes step aside and the layout is transcript and notes. The in-session credit counter was also corrected: while recording it estimated the transcription minutes at three times the real rate, which is why the figure dropped when a recording stopped. It now uses the same rate the session is billed at. Live Audio is part of the Pro AI toolkit.
Notes During Live Audio
Live Audio Mode was a listening-only screen: writing an observation meant closing the session, which a recording refuses. The case notes now open inside the session. A Notes toggle in the Live Audio header — or the section toolbar's Notes button — adds a resizable notes column beside the rubrics, materia medica findings and case analysis, with the same editor, formatting bar, templates and autosave as the Notes panel, so everything written during the consultation is already in the analysis when the recording stops. On a phone the notes are a fourth tab. The column stays open or closed the way it was left. Live Audio is part of the Pro AI toolkit.
Remedy Grades in Filtered Rubric Lists
Select a remedy in the Repertory search and run the search with an empty box to list every rubric that contains it. Each rubric now prints the remedy after its name in the grade typography used inside rubrics (plain, italic, bold, bold underlined) and in the grade colours from Settings, so the grade is visible without opening the rubric. Remedy-only results open ordered by grade, highest first, and the sort control still offers relevance and remedy count; keyword and plain-language searches with a remedy filter gain the same grade sort option. Available on Free and Pro.
Jeremy Sherr Provings
Thirty-five modern provings by Jeremy Sherr and the Dynamis School — Hydrogen, Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton and Xenon among them, through Chocolate, Plutonium nitricum and Taxus baccata — are now a one-time Similia add-on. Each proving arrives complete: the substance report, pharmacy and prover notes, themes, cases and over 880 figures from the original books, with the prover number, the potency taken and the time of onset kept on every one of its 45,000 symptoms. The whole set is searchable by keyword and by AI semantic search alongside your other materia medica sources, and Pro's AI case analysis can draw on it like any other book you own. Licensed as one bundle at £259.99 / €309.99 / $349.99; Taxus baccata is open through its Mind chapter for free, so you can judge the work before buying.
Setup Wizard
The preferences that shape every screen used to hide in Settings, so most accounts ran on defaults they never chose. A five-step setup wizard now opens on the first sign-in — and once for every existing account — to set the appearance, the analysis grid layout (Standard or Compact, with live previews), how remedies are ordered inside rubrics and where the author tag sits, and which materia medica authors lead the source list. Each choice applies as it is made, every step can be left as it is, and the wizard can be run again any time from Settings → Tours & tutorials. Available on Free and Pro.
Grid Display Templates
The analysis grid has eight display options, and switching between a dense teaching layout and a roomy reading one meant clicking through all of them. Settings → Grid display now opens with a Template picker. Standard restores the defaults and Compact packs more remedies on screen with square cells, vertical headers and a smaller rubric font. Any combination can be saved under a name of choice, renamed or deleted, and applied again in one click; the picker reads Custom whenever the options match no template. Templates are available on Free and Pro.
One Note for the Whole Prescription
A prescription with several remedies had nowhere to put the advice covering all of them, so it ended up bolted onto one remedy or typed in as a remedy of its own. The prescription panel now has an Overall note below the remedy list. It belongs to the analysis rather than to any single remedy, so editing, reordering or removing a remedy leaves it alone, and it prints once at the end of that analysis in the exported document. Advice you repeat can be saved: type it once, choose Templates above the field and Save as template, name it something like Taking remedies, and from then on one click drops it in ready to edit for the person in front of you. These templates stay separate from the per-remedy instruction and note templates, so each menu offers only what belongs in that field. The note can also be switched off for exports under Settings, alongside the other prescription fields.
Reorder the Remedies in a Prescription
Saved prescriptions kept the order you added them in, so changing your mind meant deleting an entry and typing it again. Under Previous Prescriptions each row now has a handle: drag it where you want it, or use the up and down arrows beside Edit if you prefer the keyboard. The order saves by itself and travels with the prescription — the case screen and the exported document both follow it. Moving a row changes only its position; the date and time still record when you wrote that entry.
Buy Any Vermeulen Prisma Volume on Its Own
Frans Vermeulen's four Prisma volumes — Concordant Reference, Synoptic Reference 1, Synoptic Reference 2 and Prisma Reference — were until now sold only together. Each is available on its own from today at £89.99 / €104.99 / $119.99, a one-time purchase like the bundle. A locked volume in the Materia Medica now offers the book you actually clicked, with the complete four-volume collection still there underneath at £319.99 / €369.99 / $429.99 for anyone who wants all of it. Owning the bundle already includes all four; nothing changes for anyone who bought it.
Choose the Order of Dates
Dates on the home screen, in the Cases list, on analyses, timelines and prescriptions now follow the region of the browser, not only the interface language: an English interface in Australia or the UK reads 31/08/2026, in the United States 8/31/2026. For a fixed order regardless of device, the new Date format setting under Account pins DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD in any interface language — the line under the choice shows today's date in the order that is in force, and the choice follows the account to every signed-in device.
Hide Patient Names When You Present
Teaching a class or sharing a screen? A new setting keeps the Recent Cases list on the home screen and the Cases table behind a placeholder, so patient names never reach the projector. An eye button reveals the list for the current visit only — leave the page or reload and it hides itself again. Turn it on under Settings, in Privacy and consent; the choice follows the account to every signed-in device.
Export a Prescription from the Analysis
The prescription panel on an analysis now has its own Export button. Record the prescription, save it, and download the finished document right there — no going back to the case screen to find the export. It is the same document as before, with your letterhead, the fields you chose, and the file format you set under Settings. The case screen still lists every prescription together when you want them in one file.
Start a Repertorization Straight from the Repertory
Rubrics in the Repertory section now carry a green + button. Click it and Similia opens a repertorization with that rubric already on the clipboard, so you no longer have to open a case first and find the rubric a second time. It works in the search results and in the chapter explorer. Rubrics with no remedies, and personal rubrics you created yourself, do not show it — add those from inside a case analysis.
Eight New Classic Materia Medica Books
The free classic library grows from 13 to 21 books with Materia Medica Pura and Chronic Diseases by Hahnemann, plus works by Farrington, Dunham, Guernsey, Hughes & Dake, Hale, and H. C. Allen. Read them online, compare remedies across authors, and search the collection by keyword or meaning.
My Notes — Your Personal Notebook
Similia Pro now includes a personal notebook. Write notes in a full editor, dictate them, or photograph handwritten pages and let the AI transcribe them — the photo itself is never stored. Attach images, organize everything into folders, and link a note to a remedy or family to read it right inside the materia medica and find it with keyword search.

Nested Case Folders
Case folders can now be nested up to four levels deep, so you can file cases the way you actually think about them. Drag cases and folders to move them, drop a folder above or below another to re-order, or use Move Up / Move Down from the row menu where drag isn't available. Deleting a folder never deletes cases — the whole branch is unfiled first.
Bidirectional Analysis Highlighting
Click any remedy column in the analysis grid to light up that remedy's whole column and every rubric it covers; open a rubric and the remedies that answer it are softly emphasised in return. Selection is additive and survives sorting, filtering, scoring changes, clipboard re-ordering and trips to the materia medica.
Drag-and-Drop Clipboard Reordering
Drag a clipboard chip (A–J) in the case analysis onto another slot to re-order your clipboards, with the same shift semantics as browser tabs. Custom names travel with their contents, the screen doesn't move under you, and the reorder joins the undo history.
Remedy Comparison: Families, Repertory Overview & Rubric Overlap
The remedy comparison workspace grows well beyond side-by-side remedies. Compare two taxonomy families — Standard or Scholten — with membership resolved server-side and advisories for unmatched, low-evidence or overlapping members. A new repertory overview gives whole-repertory statistics, top remedies and per-section leaders before you've built any comparison, and a rubric-overlap view separates what two remedies share, what distinguishes them, and where the record is simply absent. Case-descriptive and index chapters are now hidden by default, with a scope picker and a section drill-down when you want them back (Pro members).

A new tool for running collaborative homeopathic provings. Coordinators create a proving, invite other Similia users, manage participants, and review observations submitted by typing, multilingual speech, handwriting photos or drawings. Participant identity visibility is coordinator-controlled, invites must be explicitly accepted, uploaded images are stripped of metadata, and AI processing runs under versioned consent with no-training routing.
