Common name: wake robin.

Active or passive hæmorrhage (Ferr., Ham., Ipec., Kali-P., Lach.) (D.).

Hæmorrhage from the nose, lungs, kidneys, and uterus (Carb-V., Ipec., Lach., Mill., Nit-Ac.) (A.).

Blood usually bright red (Acon., Bell., Cact.) (A.).

Tendency to putrescence of the fluids (Ars., Bapt., Carb-Ac., Kali-P., Kreos., Lach.) (A.).

Epistaxis, profuse, passive, or bright red (Carb-V., Lach., Phos.) (A.).

Uterine hæmorrhage, after over-exertion or too long a ride (A.).

IS ESPECIALLY USEFUL IN MENSES EVERY TWO WEEKS, LASTING A WEEK AND VERY PROFUSE (Calc., Nux-V.) (N.).

FLOODING, WITH FAINTING, FAINT, DIM SIGHT, PALPITATION, OBSTRUCTION AND NOISES IN THE EARS (Chin.) (N.).

Menorrhagia from displaced uterus or at the climacteric; blood dark and clotted (A.).

Threatened abortion (Caul., Sep.), with a gush of blood on each movement, with a sensation as if the hips and back were falling apart; relieved by bandaging the hips tightly (D.).

Post-partum hæmorrhage (Chin., Ferr-P., Ham., Ipec., Sec.) (N.).

Profuse yellow, creamy or bloody leucorrhœa, which renders the patient anæmic (Bl.).

Tendency to uterine prolapsus (Bell., Nat-M., Sep., Thuj.) (Bl.).

AGGRAVATION: After over-exertion; from too long a ride; from least motion; every two weeks; during the climacteric; after eating; and from sitting erect.

AMELIORATION: From bending forward; from exercise in the open air; and from tight bandage.
