  • A tendency to sleep, disturbed every three to five minutes by irritation in the throat, and the discharge of a mouthful of frothy mucus with a sort op gulp; this action was very peculiar, I have never seen anything like it before; then the child would lie down and close his eyes until again disturbed.
  • Vomiting.
  • Bowels of both moved twice or thrice.
  • Pulse of the older, 60; of the younger, 70.
