• Sudden vomiting and copious green stools, followed by collapse, distension and sensitiveness of the abdomen and death, 1.
• Slight pain in the stomach, with evacuation of fæces (after half an hour), 2 ; (after third dose), 2a.
• Violent pain and a rapid succession of evacuations, leaving considerable inactivity of the lower intestines, lasting several days, 2b.
• A loose evacuation of fæces, attended with slight pain in the stomach (after half an hour); a second and third (after one hour and a half), 2 ; (after third dose), 2a.
• Evacuation of urine (in fifteen minutes), 2 ; (after third dose), 2a.
