MIND

HEAD

MOUTH

  • It has a peculiar astringent taste, puckering the mucous membrane of the buccal cavity and closing Steno's duct, 1.

THROAT

  • Swelling of the right parotid gland (second day), 1a.

ABDOMEN

  • Flatulence (second day), 1a.
  • Pain in the abdomen (second day), 1a.

  • Bowels loose; two stools to-day (second day), 1a.
  • The bowels moved twice, with gripings in the abdomen (third day), 2.

URINARY ORGANS

  • Urine slightly acid; excess of the triple and earthy phosphates and epithelium; less uric acid crystals (?) (second day), 1a.

BACK

  • Aching in the right acetabulum (second day), 1a.

HEART AND PULSE

  • Circulation torpid (second day), 1a.
  • Pulse feeble (third day), 2.

SLEEP

  • Rested poorly, waked often; first too hot, then chilly; and at last, towards morning, in a profuse perspiration (first night), 1a.
