Common name: vaccine (cow-pox lymph).

This remedy is employed as a prophylactic against, and to modify the course of an attack of small-pox (Bl.).

Vaccine poison is capable of setting up a morbid state of extreme chronicity, named by Dr. Burnett "Vaccinosis," the symptoms of which are like those of Hahnemann's "Sycosis" (Br.).

Irritable, impatient, ill-humoured, and nervous (Cham., Cina, Nux-V., Phos., Sulph.) (Br.).

Frontal headache; forehead and eyes feel as if split (Bry.) (Br.).

Inflamed and red lids (Euphr., Graph., Puls., Sulph.) (Br.).

Indigestion with great flatulent distension (Carb-V., Lyc., Nat-S.) (C.).

Chilliness (Ars., Gels., Puls., Rhus-T., Sil.) (Cla.).

Hot and dry skin (Acon., Bry., Sulph.) (Br.).

Inveterate skin eruptions (Graph., Merc., Sulph.) (Cla.).

Eruption like variola (Ant-T., Merc., Rhus-T., Sil., Sulph.) (Br.).

Pimples and blotches on the skin (Calc., Graph., Sep.) (Br.).
