Common name: dog's milk.
Inflammatory affections travel crosswise, from side to side, back and forth (rheumatism, sore-throat, etc.).
Symptoms erratic, pains constantly flying from one part to another (Kali-B., Puls.); changing from side to side every few hours or days.
SHINING, GLAZED APPEARANCE OF DIPHTHERITIC DEPOSITS, CHANCRES AND ULCERS (N.).
Diphtheria: the membrane forms on one side and goes to the other; or is constantly changing sides; the membrane is mother-of-pearl like (D.).
Throat sensitive to touch externally (Lach.) (A.).
Sorethroat: aggravated by empty swallowing (Ign.); constant inclination to swallow; swallowing painful, almost impossible (Bell., Merc.); pains extend to the ears (Hep., Kali-B.); begins on the left side (Lach.) (A.).
Tonsillitis: symptoms change from side to side (Bl.).
Great prostration (Ars., Lach.) (Bl.).
Breasts inflamed, painful, aggravated by least jar; must hold them when stepping up or down stairs (Bell.) (N.).

AGGRAVATION: From touch; from jar; during menses; from empty swallowing; from pressure; during rest; and at night.
AMELIORATION: In the open air; from turning on the right side; and from walking.
