A tablet showing an abstract AI case-analysis workspace with search results and remedy cards, beside an open materia medica — AI homeopathy workspaces compared.

In short: HomAI advertises an AI case workspace with named classical sources and a shared case collection. Its Free, Basic and Pro tiers meter analyses; Pro allows 15 full analyses a day and three per case. Similia Free includes seven classical repertories, 21 classic materia medica books, AI semantic search, three new cases and three analyses a month. Similia Pro adds Notes-to-Rubric, AI case analysis, live audio transcription and photo analysis, with unlimited cases and analyses.

If you searched for HomAI, the useful comparison is what each plan lets you search, save and analyse. Corpus size, case allowances and an AI label describe different things; none establishes the accuracy of a suggested rubric.

How this comparison was researched — 6 September 2026. Similia publishes this article. We reviewed HomAI's public homepage, References, Plans & Pricing and About pages (source: homai.care) and checked Similia's current plan limits and features. This is desk research: we did not sign into HomAI, purchase a plan, test retrieval quality or assess clinical outcomes. Corpus counts and workflow descriptions below are vendor claims. Interface languages and the signed-in reading experience were not verified.

What HomAI is

HomAI (homai.care) calls itself the homeopathic AI workspace. Its published proposition:

  • Natural-language case input: the practitioner writes the case as prose and the system extracts and searches it.
  • Search by meaning across "650,000+ Materia Medica fragments and 700 real homeopathic cases", returning repertory analysis, materia medica references and matching cases together.
  • Named sources: its References page lists 16 classical materia medica texts and eight repertories, including source-origin and licensing information.
  • One workspace combining repertory analysis, materia medica, a clinical case database, patient history and personal clinical notes.
  • Web and mobile access, shown as a desktop workspace and a phone view.
  • Voice dictation on Basic and Pro, according to its plan table.
  • Positioning: a professional reference tool, which the vendor states is not a medical device.

Published pricing, checked 6 September 2026:

Tier Price Limits
Free €0 / month 3 cases a month, 1 analysis per case
Basic displays €12/month, “billed annually” and €120/year; billing basis needs confirmation 50 cases a month, 3 analyses per case; voice dictation
Pro displays €39/month and €390/year unlimited patients and cases; full analyses capped at 15/day and 3/case; voice dictation

The Basic monthly display and annual total do not annualise consistently; this review did not verify a checkout charge. Student and institutional discounts are offered by contact, but amounts are not listed. The Pro page describes its AI overview separately as nearly unlimited; that does not remove the full-analysis caps (source: homai.care, Plans & Pricing).

Where they differ in kind

Source passages and full-book reading. Both name their sources. HomAI's References page includes Clarke and Hering among 16 materia medica texts, plus eight repertories. Its public workflow emphasises retrieving passages and matching cases. Similia Free provides 21 classic books for reading by author and remedy, alongside semantic search. We did not test HomAI's signed-in reader, so this is a comparison of its advertised workflow with Similia's reading features, not a claim that HomAI lacks full-text access.

Shared cases versus your records. HomAI advertises a searchable collection of more than 700 cases. Similia holds each practitioner's own saved cases and has no equivalent shared collection. This review did not assess the collection's selection criteria or outcomes; a similar case is a reference for review, not validation of a prescription.

Where the analysis meter sits. HomAI Free allows one analysis per case, Basic three per case, and Pro 15 full analyses a day with a further limit of three per case. Similia Free caps both new cases and analyses at three each per month; its AI case analysis requires Pro, which includes unlimited cases and analyses. Count repeat analyses on the same case as well as monthly case volume when comparing the plans.

Dictation, live transcription and photo analysis. HomAI lists voice dictation on Basic and Pro. Similia Pro includes live consultation transcription and photo analysis. Dictating notes and transcribing a consultation are different tasks; we did not verify HomAI's support for continuous consultation transcription or photo analysis and do not treat missing detail as proof of absence.

Languages. Similia's interface runs in 18 languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, German, Hindi and Bengali. HomAI's interface languages were not verified in this review.

What to compare for your practice

For a shared-case search workflow, examine how HomAI attributes a result and how its per-case analysis allowance fits repeated follow-ups. Its Basic billing display also needs confirmation before comparing annual costs.

Start with Similia Free for daily classical reference reading and AI semantic search, with three new cases and three analyses a month. Its plan comparison explains the move to Pro for the AI toolkit and unlimited cases and analyses.

Frequently asked questions

What is HomAI?

HomAI (homai.care) describes itself as the homeopathic AI workspace: a practitioner enters a case in natural language and the system searches over 650,000 materia medica fragments and 700 real cases by meaning, combining repertory analysis, materia medica, a case database, patient history and notes in one screen, on web and mobile (source: homai.care).

How much does HomAI cost?

Free allows 3 cases a month and 1 analysis per case. Basic displays €12/month alongside 'billed annually' and €120/year, with 50 cases a month and 3 analyses per case; confirm the billing basis because those figures do not annualise consistently. Pro displays €39/month and €390/year, with unlimited patients and cases, but full analyses are capped at both 15 a day and 3 per case (source: homai.care, 6 September 2026).

How does Similia's free plan compare with HomAI's?

Both allow three new cases a month free. HomAI includes one AI analysis per case. Similia Free includes seven classical repertories, 21 classic materia medica books, AI semantic search and basic case management capped at three new cases and three analyses a month. Similia's AI case analysis, Notes-to-Rubric, live audio transcription and photo analysis require Pro.

Is HomAI a medical device?

HomAI states that it is not a medical device but a professional reference tool for homeopathic practitioners. Similia takes the same position: it is software for qualified practitioners and students, and the prescription is the practitioner's.

Which should I choose?

Compare the work you need to do: HomAI advertises passage retrieval, a shared case collection and metered AI analyses, with voice dictation on Basic and Pro. Similia offers a classical library and AI semantic search on Free, with three new cases and three analyses a month; Pro adds the AI toolkit and unlimited cases and analyses. HomAI's signed-in workflow was not tested for this comparison.
