In short: In 2026 an Indian practitioner is quoted anywhere from ₹0 to about $2,500 one-time, or ₹499 to ₹1,499 a month, depending on the licence model. Hompath prints its prices in US dollars, Indian marketplaces relist the same products in rupees at figures that do not reconcile with the dollar grid, two vendors sell through dealers whose Indian quotes are not public, and Similia shows rupee plans to Indian visitors that require an Indian-issued card. This page prints every published price in its own currency, dated, and explains the licence model and the costs behind each figure.

Two notes. Hompath's grid is in dollars and the marketplace shows rupees: ₹45,000 for Zomeo divided by the grid's 1500 gives ₹30 to the dollar, so the two lists are plainly not one price in two currencies; one is a different offer, edition year or dealer price. We print no conversion, because a converted figure without the RBI reference rate and its date beside it is a guess. On tax: software attracts GST in India, and no grid above says whether its figure includes it; the rental row above says "excluding local tax", OpusGo calls its prices "indicative", and Hompath's grid says nothing either way.
Three ways homeopathy software is priced (and what each hides)
One-time (perpetual) licence
Hompath sells this way, and so does Vision from Miccant (£389 for version 2 as of August 2026); Synergy prices its shop add-ons as one-off amounts without publishing its edition licence terms. "Lifetime" means the program you bought, on the machine you bought it for. Three things to ask first:
- The update window. A perpetual licence buys the repertory edition current at purchase. Hompath's grid states no update window, so ask which Complete Repertory year ships and what the next edition costs.
- The USB key and the device. Hompath's Firefly and Zomeo pages list a USB port in the system requirements for Mac and Windows, and the support menu offers a "HASP User Setup" download, HASP being a hardware licence key: a physical object you can lose. Synergy's desktop software is installed and licensed per machine.
- Operating-system compatibility. Hompath's Firefly requirements start at Windows 7 and macOS 10.8 (source: hompath.com, 20 September 2026); whether today's licence runs on the laptop you buy in 2029 is a question for the vendor, and the answer is often a paid upgrade.
Subscription
Complete Dynamics, Similia, OpusGo and Vithoulkas Compass sell access for a period, updates and support included. Complete Dynamics describes the model in its own words: "you do not need to pay a large amount of money to start using Complete Dynamics", and there are "no automatic renewals, no penalties" (source: completedynamics.com, 20 September 2026). Its webshop sells periods from one month to ten years, paid at once, and the average monthly cost falls with the period (Practitioner from €7.91 a month on the ten-year licence at €950, against €19 for one month). Software upgrades, new Complete Repertory releases and use on a practice computer plus an extra laptop are included.
Similia bills monthly or annually; the annual price is eleven months' worth (₹5,489 for Pro Base against ₹499 a month), every plan can be cancelled at any time, and eligible first-time subscribers start with a 14-day Pro trial. The Free vs Pro guide lists what each edition contains. OpusGo says "All purchases are yearly subscriptions", with add-ons requiring the Premium Bundle. Vithoulkas Compass sells 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of access plus a credit allowance for the expert system; unused credits stay on the account. RadarOpus alone rents by the month, from €6 to €45 excluding local tax depending on package and term, through local dealers (source: radaropus.com, 20 September 2026).
What ₹499 a month buys against a ₹45,000 licence
The comparison practitioners actually make is monthly figure against one-time figure. This table runs both over one, three and five years from the prices above; euro figures stay in euros.

Read the table both ways. A perpetual licence is cheaper after year three or four if you never need the next repertory edition, a new operating-system build or a second machine, and if the USB hardware key survives (Hompath lists a USB port and a HASP setup download; it does not say dongle). A subscription is cheaper over a student or first-year horizon, includes the updates, and stops when you stop. Complete Dynamics' period pricing is the middle path: five Practitioner years cost the same as three single years.
The money also buys different repertories. The Complete Repertory is on Similia Pro Complete at ₹1,499 a month and in every paid Complete Dynamics edition. Synthesis is not licensed by Similia; it comes with RadarOpus Packages 2 and up, or as OpusGo's Synthesis Adonis add-on at €15 a year on top of Premium. Murphy's MetaRepertory is on Similia Pro Murphy; OpusGo lists "Murphy Repertory Version 3" as a €30-a-year add-on. Zomeo Ultimate is Hompath's largest bundle: the compare grid lists 44 repertories and 136 materia medica books for it (source: hompath.com, 20 September 2026); the Zomeo comparison walks through its editions.
Prices for BHMS students and interns
Hompath prices its student products separately: Firefly desktop 75, Firefly mobile app 75, Firefly Prime 99 and Edge free, in dollars on the compare grid, with techjockey.com listing Firefly at ₹4,500 as a third-party figure. Hompath's FAQ says it "has created 2 softwares exclusively for homeopathic students and interns", Edge and Firefly; the desktop build needs a USB port like its larger siblings, and the Firefly comparison covers the app-store price and reseller listings.
Complete Dynamics' Browser Edition is a free download that opens the entire Complete Repertory with the index, book, find and language-switch functions only; case, analysis and materia medica are reserved for the paid Practitioner and Master editions. OOREP is an open online repertory whose source code is freely available. OpusGo's free version puts the Kent Repertory, Boericke, the Organon and Kent's Lectures on a phone.
Similia Free runs in the browser on an Android phone or a laptop with nothing to install: seven classical repertories with AI semantic repertory search, 21 classic materia medica books to read and basic case management capped at three new cases and three analyses a month, with the interface in Hindi and Bengali as well as English. Three practice cases a month cover coursework. Pro adds the AI toolkit and unlimited cases and analyses when you start practising, and Similia offers special pricing for students and educators on request, with status verified first; see the students page and the student software roundup.
Vithoulkas Compass advertises student pricing without printing it: it recommends its Frequent Plan to students "at special student pricing" (source: vithoulkascompass.com, 20 September 2026). Complete Dynamics publishes no student rate; its Friends Program gives a new customer 15 per cent off a first three- or five-year licence on a referral (source: completedynamics.com, 20 September 2026). Budget on the public price and treat any discount as a bonus.
Buying from India: cards, INR, GST and invoices
The mechanics matter more than a few hundred rupees of headline difference.
Similia shows rupee prices only to visitors from India, and rupee plans require an Indian-issued card; with any other card the checkout reads "INR pricing is only available for Indian-issued cards. No charge was made to your card", the subscription is cancelled and any payment refunded. Eligible first-time subscribers start on the 14-day trial, so nothing is charged until day 15; returning subscribers without a trial are charged at checkout. On a rupee subscription the monthly add-ons (Meditative Provings, Griffith, Pitt) are not offered, because one subscription cannot mix currencies; the one-time add-ons (Suggesta 2.1, Q-Rep 5, the Vermeulen volumes, the Saine and Sherr collections) are charged in US dollars.
Hompath publishes a dollar grid from a Mumbai address: the footer gives Welcome Cure Healthtech Pvt. Ltd in Santacruz (W), Mumbai, and the copyright line reads "©2026 Mind Technologies Private Limited". The Indian quote comes from the sales team, listed under "Locate Sales Executives" with an Indian phone number, not from the grid.
Complete Dynamics publishes no Indian price. Its price page says some countries buy via a reseller, and its licensing page adds that resellers "are not official representatives" and that all support is handled by the company itself, so the public euro figure is the international webshop price, not necessarily the one you will be invoiced; the same applies to RadarOpus dealers.
Synergy lists an India office in Santacruz (W), Mumbai, alongside its California headquarters. Edition prices are not on the public site, and the shop showed euro figures to this reader for add-ons that our earlier comparison saw in dollars: the shop prices in the visitor's currency.
GST and invoices. Whatever the vendor, ask two questions before paying: is GST included in the quoted figure, and will a GST invoice be issued in your name or the clinic's? A marketplace listing, a dealer's quote and a webshop checkout can answer differently for the same product. Keep the invoice.
Which price is right for your practice
- Student or intern. Start on a free tier: Similia Free, Complete Dynamics' Browser Edition, OOREP, Hompath Edge or OpusGo's free version. Move to Firefly (75 on the grid) or Similia Pro Base (₹499 a month) when coursework outgrows the free allowance.
- Complete Repertory practitioner. Complete Dynamics Practitioner (€190 a year on the international webshop, installed, reseller pricing where a reseller exists) against Similia Pro Complete (₹16,489 a year, browser-based, with the AI toolkit): same repertory family, different device model. The Complete Dynamics comparison goes through the editions.
- Synthesis practitioner. Similia does not licence Synthesis. Your options are RadarOpus, sold via local dealers, where Package 2 is the first to carry a Synthesis edition (Core Synthesis 2016, rental from €10 a month ex-tax on a 24-month term; Treasure Edition 2009 from Package 3 at €20, Synthesis Adonis from Package 4 at €30), or OpusGo's Synthesis Adonis add-on on top of its €69 Premium Bundle.
- Indian-school library (Sehgal, Sankaran, Farokh Master). Zomeo Ultimate, 2500 on the grid or ₹90,000 on the marketplace listing, with 44 repertories and 136 materia medica books on Hompath's own count.
- AI toolkit, browser, cases on every device. Whichever row you pick, buy from a dated figure in a named currency, with GST and invoice answered in writing. Prices move; the questions do not.
