Common name: phosphorus.
Adapted to tall, slender persons of sanguine temperament, fair skin, delicate eye-lashes, fine blond or red hair, quick perceptions, and very sensitive nature (A.).
Useful for young people, who grow too rapidly, are inclined to stoop (to walk stooped- Sulph.) (A.).
Fistulous ulcers, with callous edges, secreting a thin, foul pus and of a blue appearance (Carb-V.) (Bt.).
Flushes all over, beginning in hands (N.).
BURNING HEAT RUNNING UP THE BACK AND BETWEEN SHOULDERS (N.).
Glandular swellings, especially after contusions (Con.).

Sexual abuse producing dorsal consumption, trembling, imbecility, mania, epileptic fits and impaired digestion (Bt.).
Moisture in the meatus urinarius (Nat-M.), causing a yellow stain (K.).
AGGRAVATION: From change of weather; during a thunderstorm; in the morning; in the evening; while in bed; after eating; after drinking; before midnight; when lying on the back; and when lying on the left side.
Cold air relieves the head and face symptoms, but aggravates those of the chest, throat and neck.
AMELIORATION: After eating; from drinking cold water; from cold food; from lying on the right side; from being rubbed or mesmerized; and after sleep.
RELATIONSHIP: Complementary: Ars., with which it is isomorphic; All-C., its vegetable analogue.
Incompatible: with Caust.; must not be used before or after.
Phos. removes the bad effects of Iod. (Hep.), and excessive use of table salt.
Follows well after: Calc. or Chin.
Antidotes: Coff., Nux-V.
