Isnard (A. H. Z., 79, 76, Review of Therap. Andw. des Arsen.) took daily increasing doses of .01 to 0.10 of centigramme; symptoms began on the sixth day.

  • Congestion of the head.
  • Pain in the forehead.
  • Pressure in the temples.
  • Pain in the orbits.
  • Conjunctivitis.
  • Œdema of the face.
  • General sick feeling.
  • Sense of weakness.
  • Wandering pains along the sciatic nerves.
  • Loss of appetite.
  • Nausea.
  • Diarrhœa slight, without pain in abdomen.
  • Pulse 90.
