André Saine

André Saine is a Canadian homeopath and naturopathic physician who holds the credentials N.D. (Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine) and F.C.A.H. (Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy). He graduated in 1982 from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and was board-certified in homeopathy in 1988 by the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians. He maintains a private practice in Montréal, Canada.

Since 1986 Saine has been the Dean and main instructor for the postgraduate program of the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy in Montréal, and he has been teaching and lecturing on homeopathy since 1985. He is widely described as one of the world's foremost experts on classical, or pure, homeopathy, and his clinical work focuses on patients with serious chronic disease.

Saine's approach is rooted in the original methodology of Samuel Hahnemann and the work of the 19th-century masters of homeopathy. His formal teachers included Robin Murphy, Bill Gray, George Vithoulkas, Francisco Eizayaga and John Bastyr, while he regards earlier practitioners — Carroll Dunham, P. P. Wells, Constantine Hering and especially Adolph Lippe — as his principal influences. This emphasis on the faithful, careful application of classical principles has defined his teaching, lecturing and scholarship.

His commitment to the classical tradition is reflected in his editorial work on the writings of Adolph Lippe, M.D. In 2024 he edited and annotated 'Lessons in Pure Homeopathy', a two-volume compilation of Lippe's writings published by Dare to Know Press of the Canadian Academy of Homeopathy (Montréal, Québec, Canada).
