The pains of Ranunculus sceleratus are of a gnawing, stitching type, particularly in the right great toe.
These symptoms, with the liver concomitants, points the peculiar field of usefulness of the remedy.
HEART
STICKING PAIN IN REGION OF HEART.
Pressure as from a blunt piece of wood in region of heart.
GNAWING PAIN BEHIND LOWER PART OF STERNUM ARRESTING BREATHING.
BACK
JERKING PAIN IN LUMBAR REGION ARRESTING BREATHING WHEN WALKING.
Compressive drawing pain in region of scapula.
SUPERIOR EXTREMITIES
Stitches in left shoulder; drawing in right, with drawing downward from right as if muscles were overtaxed.
BORING STICKING ALONG LEFT FOREARM TO TIP OF INDEX FINGER WHERE IT WAS VERY SEVERE.
Drawing sticking in ball of right hand.
GNAWING IN LEFT PALM EVENINGS.
Drawing in right metacarpal bones with pressure.
Sticking pains in index and ring fingers.
Sticking gnawing in phalanges of hands and finger bones.
INFERIOR EXTREMITIES
Drawing gnawing pain in right thigh.
Gnawing in right knee with boring pain.
Gnawing of right outer malleolus; in region of ball of left foot; in left heel.
Stinging boring in ball of right foot.
SUDDEN STICKING PAIN IN RIGHT GREAT TOE PASSING INTO BURNING; SUDDEN, INTERMITTENT, IN FORE PART OF RIGHT GREAT TOE.
BORING AND GNAWING IN RIGHT GREAT TOE.
Gnawing pain in ball of right great toe.
AGGRAVATIONS
LETTING THE LIMB HANG DOWN.
Pressure.

SENSATION AS IF FACE WERE COVERED BY SPIDER WEB.
