Br. Journ. of Hom., 11, 158, effects of an infusion taken every six hours for eight days, for the purpose of producing an abortion, which it failed to do.

  • Strong forcing pains, like those of labor, in the lower part of the abdomen, which varied greatly in intensity, and lasted from twenty or thirty seconds to a minute or longer.
  • Pretty frequent desire to urinate, but no increase in amount of urine emitted.
  • Slight increase in frequency of pulse.
  • Slight degree of nausea on one or two occasions.
