Kali sulphuricum finds its particular sphere of usefulness in acute rheumatic fevers with marked tendency to wander from joint to joint.
HEAD
Rheumatic headache < in a warm room, in evening, > in open air.
NECK AND BACK
Pains in nape of neck, back or in limbs, periodical; < evenings or in a warm room, > in cool or open air.
BACKACHE AND PAINS IN LIMBS < IN A WARM ROOM AND TOWARD EVENING, > IN COOL OPEN AIR.
Stiff neck, head inclined toward the left.
EXTREMITIES IN GENERAL
Pains in limbs.
Acute or wandering rheumatic pains of joints.
AFTER BEING CHILLED WHEN OVERHEATED FRIGHTFUL PAINS IN RIGHT SHOULDER, PAINS LEAVE SHOULDER AND WANDER FROM JOINT TO JOINT; MADDENING PAIN WITH HIGH FEVER, NO REMISSION FROM DAY OR NIGHT.
