Roger van Zandvoortについて
Roger van Zandvoort is a Dutch homeopath, researcher, and repertory editor born in 1958 in Heerlen, in the Netherlands. He studied at the Dutch academy of naturopathy (Nederlandse Akademie voor Natuurgeneeskunde) in Hilversum, where, on the strength of his knowledge of phytotherapy, he was invited to teach immediately after graduating.
He is best known for creating and continuously expanding the Complete Repertory. Beginning around 1982, while still a homeopathy student, he started working on additions and corrections to Kent's Repertory, an effort that gradually grew into a major repertory project in its own right. The Complete Repertory was first published in book form in 1996, running to some 2,800 pages, by the Institute for Research in Homeopathic Information and Symptomatology in Leidschendam, in the Netherlands.
Using Kent's Repertory as the core, van Zandvoort incorporated the contents of other repertories he regarded as reliable, including the personal repertories of Pierre Schmidt and von Boenninghausen, while tracing rubrics back to their original sources. The repertory is associated with a multi-grade system in which higher grades denote symptoms confirmed through clinical experience; on his own project's account it is described as a five-level grading system in which the fourth grade represents the highest level of clinical verification, reflecting his emphasis on source verification and referenced material.
His repertory work has been published in several languages and integrated into homeopathic software programs worldwide. The continued and expanded edition of the project is published under the title Repertorium Universale. He continues to develop his repertory work, including a rebuilt interface code-named the Curar Project, built on FileMaker Pro.
