Catarrhal affections of mucous membranes, especially of the eye and ear (A.).
Otitis media (Calc-S., Kali-M., Puls.) (Br.).
Eustachian catarrh, with deafness and tinnitus aurium (D.).
Catarrhal deafness and otorrh┼Уa in psoric children (Kali-M., Sil.) (A.).
Deafness of old age (Caust., Kali-M., Phos.) (A.).
Salivation with sore-mouth and offensive breath (Bor., Kali-P., Lach., Nit-Ac., Podo.) (Bl.).
Cirrhosis of the liver, especially in the hypertrophic form (Br.).
DIARRHOEA: OF CHILDREN; STOOLS GRASS-GREEN (Ipec.); LIKE CHOPPED EGGS (Cham.); PROFUSE (Podo.); CAUSING SORENESS OF ANUS (Sulph.) (A.).
Is also of use in dysentery when the stool is small in quantity and consists of mucus and blood, covered with bile (Bl.).
Acute affections of prostate after mal-treated stricture (Acon., Arn., Canth., Ferr-P., Staph.) (A.).
Ulceration of throat, with dysphagia (Lach., Nit-Ac., Sil.) (Br.).

AGGRAVATION: From acids; at night; and in cold weather.
AMELIORATION: From cold drinks; and after stool.
RELATIONSHIP: Similar to: Calc-S., Cham., Chel., Ipec., Kali-M., Lach., Lyc., Merc., Nit-Ac., Podo., Puls., Sil., and Sulph.
Antidotes: Hep. and Podo.
