I. Proving.—1. April 28th, 8 a.m, ro dr. Soon confused head as if vertigo were’ imminent repeatedly ; when sitting felt as if body swayed. Pulse till 8.30 fuller and slower than normal. Hands felt trembling on grasping. anything. 9.30 4.m, pressure in I, knee and later in r, forearm, 4 pam. drawing in dorsum of |. foot and in joint of ast, metacarpus—agth, 6.30 am,, 15 dr. 7.30 a.m. tearing in fingers and toes, pain in r. hip-joint. Pressure in top of 1. thoracie wall, going and coming. 8 a.m. car closes up without pain or swelling ; this lasts x h, and was. the beginning of a severe cold which developed same d.—May and, 7.15 a.m., 25 dr. Soon weight in occiput, with heat j feeling as if hot water ran’up back for th. Heat in face more internally, then in whole Body, sweat on hands the veins of which are swollen, lasts |b, Pulse the first J h, sometimes unequal, on the whole fuller and Stronger. 8 am, inward chilliness, cold hands, urging 0 urinate, till 10 am. ‘At g-45 drawing in muscles of calves, on 1, tibia.” Pricking on tongue.tip ; nausea. Sstht Gam, 20 dr. Immediately heat rising from cervieal vertebre to occiput, a Imist across upper part of field of vision, the veins swell, pulse quicker, for bh. 6.30 a.m, shooting in spinous processes of lower dorsal and lumbar vertebra; heat rises inwardly in face, then im forehead with pressure, 6.45 a.m, chill throngh vertebre, cold hands, Pressure in r, metatarsus and r. forearm. Pricking in tongue Hp. Tearing in, tibia, 7 am, urging to urinate, scamty discharge. 12 noon,

(hooting pain in 1. thoracic wall, superiorly. 10.30 p.m. shooting in larynx, dry

couch. — nth, 7 a.m., 5 dr. Pressure and drawing in bones of dorsum of both feet.

Ttracking in tongue-tip. Pressure in occiput, weieht and fulness in scrob. cordis.

8 a. an., 5 dr. Increased flow of clear saliva after all doses. Urging to urinate, much

bortaorygmus. Pressure in ist joint of r. big toe. Formication m skin of r. tibia.

Cutting deep in fore part of tongue. Several times chill through back j mucus in

tliroat, obtuse pressive feelinz deep behind sternum as if in oesophagus. 9 a.m,

otdden shooting on 1. side below navel towards bladder. 9 a.m., 5 dr. Pressure in

K^^nl parts of sinciput. Great chilliness in back and limbs. Urine clear, not pro.

Shooting in tongue-tip ; very weak ; drawing in heels. Bad smell from mouth.

inl. forearm to wrist. — i4.th. M., long-continued pain in whole 1. leg and ankle-
