The stitching pain in the intercostal muscles and about the joints, associated with the milk-crust eruption (often about the joints) will call for Jacea, especially when there is painfulness from pressure on the painless side.

Compatible with Pulsatilla, Rhus tox., Sepia and Staphisagria.

Some authorities say the first two remedies antidote the action of Jacea.

Compare: Clematis, Graphites, Mezereum, Staphisagria.
