Coccinella septempunctata

by Henry N. GuernseyKey-Notes to the Materia Medica

We are led to the use of this remedy in whooping cough (or in any other kind of cough), when at the end of a paroxysm of coughing a quantity of albuminous, ropy expectoration pours forth.

Sensation in the throat as though the uvula was too long. (Nux vom. has this same sensation, when the uvula is bluish and inflamed.)
