Characteristics

Clarence Bartlett (H. W., xxi. 251) relates a case of chronic diarrhœa in which "the stools were watery and looked very much like yeast" cured with Nat. sulphuros. 3x given, after the failure of many other remedies, at the suggestion of Farrington on the indication " yeasty stools." The patient had pain in right scapula as if bathed in hot water; was much debilitated; taking food provoked a stool. The face was whitish waxy, except the cheeks, which were a "light freckle colour."
