MOUTH

  • Tongue coated white and somewhat swollen (seventh day), 1.
  • Garlicky odor in the mouth, 2.
  • The most remarkable symptom was the garlicky odor of Tellurium in the breath; this appeared very soon after the first dose, and was noticed for seven weeks, it was so offensive to others that the experimenter was obliged to avoid society, 1.
  • Very copious secretion of saliva (seventh day), 1.

STOMACH

  • Increased appetite, 2.
  • The appetite seemed to be increased during the first three days, but afterwards became less and less, 1.
  • Loss of appetite (seventh day), 1.
  • Inclination to vomit (seventh day), 1.
  • The gastric symptoms lasted for fourteen days, 1.

HEART

  • Oppression in the cardiac region (seventh day), 1.

SLEEP

  • Sleepiness, 2 ; during the first days, 1.
