Mind and Disposition

Low-spirited; discouraged.

Fear of an approaching illness.

Head

Fulness in and heaviness of the head.

Head and face are cold.

Headache (temples and eyes), with distressing vomiting (of a sweetish mucus, occasionally with a trace of bile).

Sensation of constriction around the forehead (when trying to cough).

Stitches in the lower part (right side) of the cerebellum.

Eyes

Redness of the conjunctiva.

Inflammation of the eyelids.

Mouth and Throat

Toothache in the warm room.

The tongue and gums feel as if covered by a greasy substance (in the morning on rising).

Dry, cracked lips.

Roughness in the throat.

Burning in the mouth and fauces.

Increased flow of saliva.

Stomach and Abdomen

Bitter, putrid taste.

Nausea and empty eructations.

Nausea and vomiting of a watery and very acid substance.

Vomiting of food, sour; bilious.

Pain in the stomach before breakfast and from drinking water.

Pain in the region of the liver; worse from motion.

Colic relieved by bending forward; relieved by discharge of flatulence.

Cutting pain in the lower part of the abdomen.

Fetid flatulence.

Stool and Anus

Diarrhœa, with colic and rumbling in the bowels.

Urinary Organs

Cutting and pricking in the urethra while urinating.

Genital Organs

Coldness and itching of the genitals.

Extremities

Acute rheumatic pain in the right shoulder; worse from motion, especially on raising the arm.

Pain in the fingers on writing.

Sleep

Great sleeplessness.

Starts up in his sleep.

Generalities

Great debility.

Gastric symptoms predominate (with headache).

Fever

Pulse accelerated.

Chilliness during the whole night.

Heat over the whole body, follower by chilliness, with cold hands and feet.

Perspiration over the whole body, but principally in the hypochondria.

Skin

Small blood-boils, face, hands and back.

Conditions

Most symptoms appear in the evening and at night.

The right side is; principally affected.

Aggravation of the pains by motion.
