Common name: cuttle fish.
Adapted to women with dark hair, rigid fibre, but mild and easy disposition, particularly during pregnancy, childbed, or while nursing (N.).
Want of animal heat (Sil.).
The symptoms are relieved from violent exertions, but reappear most violently when sitting quietly in the forenoon and evening.
Painful sensitiveness of all parts of the body (Bell., Lach.).
Great sensitiveness to cold air (Bell., Hep., Sil.).

AMELIORATION: From external heat; from violent exertions; from sitting with legs crossed; from loosening clothes; in open air; and from warmth of bed.
RELATIONSHIP: It antidotes mental effects of overuse of tobacco in patients of sedentary habits, who suffer from overmental exertion.
Complementary: Nat-M.
Frequently indicated after Nux-V., Sil. and Sulph.
Similar to: Lach., Sang., and Ustil., in climacteric irregularities of the circulation.
Inimical to: Lach. (should not be used before or after), and Puls. (with which it should never be alternated).
